Steven Meyerson, CPA

I am a Certified Public Accountant and have been in practice for more than 30 years. My office is located in Mequon, Wisconsin. The practice emphasizes tax planning and preparation. My client base includes individuals in 16 states and 3 foreign countries. I am financial advisor to many real estate partnerships and closely held businesses and have substantial experience in trust and estate taxation. I have also been trained as a divorce specialist and serve as a financial neutral in collaborative divorce cases.

Both my undergraduate degree in accounting and my masters degree in taxation were earned at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee. I am a member of the Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the National Association of Tax Professionals, the Collaborative Family Law Council of Wisconsin and the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals.

I was listed as a Five Star Wealth Manager in the Taxation category in Milwaukee Magazine in 2009. I have written articles on current tax rules that have appeared on numerous websites including the Reader's Digest online edition and abcnews.com.

I have served on many professional and civic groups. Currently serving as the treasurer of the Mequon-Thiensville Chamber of Commerce and co-chair of the Public Education committee of the Collaborative Family Law Council. I have served on the Wisconsin Taxation and Technology committees of the Wisconsin Institute of CPA's.
